The Simming Foundry (TSF) is a collection of simming projects run by like minded people who simply want to have fun in their spare time. Together, we collaborate on projects from a variety of genres and we have fun doing so. Free from restrictions, rules and requirements, it is our desire for all TSF Projects to be safe havens for anyone and everyone, regardless of gender, self-identification, religion, political persuasion and simming experience.
There are no rules on how you can run, maintain or govern your sim/project. We have no interest or desire in dictating how member groups function, or how GM Teams run their sims/projects. The only expectation is that a nominated GM will participate in the TSF Administrators group, which is there to help administer the discord server and ensure the smooth running of the group.
There are no obligations as to what you must do as a member of TSF. There are no monthly reports, no posting requirements, no activity requirements on the discord and no requirement for anyone to participate in discussions. There are opportunities to do so should you wish, and we would politely ask that you join in where you feel able to do so in order to enhance our community ethos, but again, there is no obligation.
In our group discord, the only rule that applies is a simple one: we have ZERO tolerance for any and all forms of discrimination, bullying or politicking. Any issues you may have experienced elsewhere must be left at the door when joining our server. We will take a dim view of any issues being brought into our group.
If you should wish to join TSF by creating a new sim/project, please reach out to one of the Admins on the TSF discord server. A member of the TSF team will be in touch to discuss you/your sim/projects ethos so that we can ensure your views and ethos match with our own. This way, we can ensure a productive relationship for all parties.
If you have an existing sim/project that you wish to bring into TSF, then please reach out to the Admins on discord or fill out this application form. A member of the TSF team will be in touch to discuss you/your sim/projects ethos so that we can ensure your views and ethos match with our own. This way, we can ensure a productive relationship for all parties.
You, and your sim/project (if you are a GM), are free to leave at anytime should you feel your views no longer align with that of the group, but it is our sincere hope that the group will grow, rather than shrink. If you do have any issues, please reach out and discuss them before withdrawing so that we may attempt to address them.
